Two first-half goals from Aaron Abarca and a third from Kentrell Dorsey was the difference-maker as Worldwide Problems FC grabbed a 3-2 victory over FCGS Force in a NISA Nation Coast Region season opener at Rio Hondo College on Sunday, Sept. 8.
It's the first NISA Nation win for Worldwide Problems FC (1-0-0 overall), last season's promoted SoCal Premier League champions.
On Saturday, Alberto Renteria scored three times Temecula FC ran away with a 5-0 victory over Olympiacos CA at Chaparral High School in Temecula, CA, Safiullah Azizi had two goals as Afghan Premier FC grabbed a 4-0 win over Elk Grove Blues in the Pacific Region opener at Ohlone College in Fremont, CA, and Johnthan Negrete had a brace as Soccer Academy Nevada held on for a 2-1 win over STG Premier Pro in the Southwest Region opener at Snow Canyon High School in St. George, UT.
Also on Sunday, Club Tepa traveled for a 4-1 victory over Modesto City FC at Central Catholic High School in Modesto, CA.
