LA MIRADA, CA (August 8, 2023) – NISA Nation is proud to announce full league affiliation status for the historic Florida Gold Coast League.

The longest-running men's amateur soccer league in South Florida, the FGCL has been dedicated to developing clubs, players and fans since 1971.

"Florida Gold Coast League has the deepest roots of any league in Florida and we're thrilled that they've chosen to affiliate," NISA Nation Director Matt Morse said. "The affiliation process has improved and we're seeing more interest than ever. We look forward to working with the FGCL to expand the benefits offered to their players and clubs and promote a professional pathway."

The FGCL attracts the top amateur talent in the South Florida market, who for generations have looked to the league to help them move quickly to collegiate, amateur and professional levels of play.

"We are excited to affiliate with NISA Nation," FGCL President Diego H. Meeroff said. "The partnership reflects our continued commitment to the open game and the development and advancement of players and clubs in Florida.

In addition to year-round league play, all FGCL teams are eligible to compete in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying rounds and have access to the NISA Independent Cup.

The FGCL is affiliated with the Florida Adult Soccer Association, USASA and U.S. Soccer, and has previous working partnerships with numerous regional leagues.
