Bernardo Majano Signs with Michigan Stars FC

Born in Arlington, Virginia, Bernardo started his youth career with Team America Soccer Club and was later picked up by DC United to play in the academy system. Collegiately, he went to Louisburg College making it to a national final his first year in the NJCAA. Bernardo was also called up to the Under 20 National team of El Salvador where he participated in El Salvador’s first ever qualification to a youth World Cup then later participated in the 2013 u20 FIFA World Cup which was hosted in Turkey. 


  Professionally, he signed his first contract with first division side Santa Tecla FC from El Salvador where he was able to score 8 goals his rookie season and appear in 3 teams of the week. He won 2 league titles and 1 cup and participated internationally with his club reaching the CONCACAF Champions League that was played against MLS side Seattle Sounders.
